The California Jaycees Foundation runs three very important programs that can help California Jaycee chapters in numerous ways. They are:

The Outstanding Young Californian

This annual program recognizes up to ten young individuals in California between the ages of 21-40 who are not only outstanding in their chosen profession, but have made a significant impact on the world around them. California Jaycee chapters, individual members, and California citizens are encouraged to nominate worthy individuals for consideration.

High School Scholarship Program

Each year the California Jaycees Foundation provides college scholarships to deserving high school seniors. These seniors may be nominated by local Jaycee chapters and others. When run by a local Jaycee chapter, this program can bring significant attention to the Jaycees and their efforts.

Fiscal Receivership Program

As a recognized 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization, the CAJC Foundation is able to receive donations from individuals that can be considered tax deductible for the donor. Most Jaycee chapters do not have this status. As a service to chapters, the Foundation’s Fiscal Receivership Program allows chapters to receive tax deductible charitable contributions from individuals or corporations.
