At the California Jaycees convention in Bakersfield last August, the California Jaycee Foundation gave out a nice $1500 to local Jaycee chapters who submitted Grant Requests for their local community projects.

The following chapters received grant money from the foundation:

  • $1000 went to the Modesto Jaycees to help with their long-time 4th of July Parade project
  • $500 went to the Sacramento Jaycees for a 5k Race they are working on.

    • Congratulations to both chapters, who, if they hadn’t submitted a Grant Request form to the foundation, would not have benefitted from this great resource to the California Jaycees.

    To get your ‘big check’, submit your Grant Request no later than October 12th, 2007 to Vice President Wendy Bell at wendyrbell@charter.net
